For the Royal Hospital, I developed a series of original illustrations with the aim of conveying care, empathy and acceptance — essential values in the healthcare sector. The arts were designed to humanize the brand's communication in digital and printed environments.
Challenges faced:
- Represent medical situations lightly, without resorting to stereotypes or cold technical elements.
- Balance emotional appeal with visual clarity and readability.
- Ensure illustrations work well across multiple formats, sizes, and platforms.
Technology used:
- All artwork was hand-drawn with graphics tablet directly into the Adobe Photoshop, maintaining a fluid, organic and unique style.
- The illustrations went through cleaning, digital painting and layer separation processes to facilitate future adaptations.
Strategy used:
- I developed a friendly and humanized style, with soft colors and empathetic expressions, reinforcing the feeling of care and trust.
- Compositions were created to portray patients and professionals in a diverse and inclusive way.
- The visual style speaks directly to the hospital's target audience: families, mothers, children and the elderly.
Solution delivered:
The arts are now applied to the website, social networks and communication materials, helping the Royal Hospital to stand out with its own memorable visual language.
An exclusive set of illustrations with strong emotional appeal and high symbolic value for the brand.
