QUIPEA App

The Quipea App was developed with the aim of teaching financial education in a fun and accessible way to young audiences. The proposal was to create a personal finance simulator that balanced realism with a fun interface, encouraging conscious decisions on a daily basis.

Challenges faced:

• Transform complex finance concepts into simple, engaging and intuitive interactions.
• Ensure a fluid experience on mobile devices with different performance levels.
• Create a mechanic that would allow the user to monitor their progress and reflect on the impact of their financial choices.

Technology used:

• Complete development in Unity, focusing on mobile (Android and iOS).
• Decision-making system based on branching events and immediate visual feedback.
• Vector illustrations and light animations integrated into gameplay.

Strategy used:

• We adopt a game-based learning, focusing on practical situations in everyday life, such as budgeting, shopping, leisure and savings.
• We created a clean, colorful and friendly interface, with language that is accessible even to those who are not familiar with financial terms.
• The app works as a choice simulator, allowing the user to experience consequences without real risks — and learn from it.

Solution delivered:

• An educational app with visual appeal and simple but powerful mechanics that make it easy to assimilate important financial concepts.
• The solution can be used both individually and in educational training programs.

Currently, Quipea is in its fourth phase, which also includes the evaluation of previous phases and the consolidation of achievements acquired since the beginning of the project in 2010. More information is available on the official website Quipea.
